Fortis Executive Management is composed of the CEO and the Group Executive Committee. Its role is to run Fortis in keeping with the values, strategies, policies, plans and budgets endorsed by the Board.
The responsibilities of the CEO are to be the top executive leader of Fortis, to enable the Board and the Chairman to exercise their responsibilities and to ensure the day-to-day management of the Parent Companies and the Group Holding companies.
The Group Executive Committee is, under the leadership of the CEO, responsible for studying, defining and preparing the strategic options and proposals that may contribute to the development of Fortis, for developing, submitting to the Board for approval and implementing Fortis policies and, in general, for ensuring the management of Fortis.
